I think that this quote is very strong. To me it means that all of the blacks and whites in america met together to solve a harsh problem of blacks not having the same equility. I think that that was a factor to blacks getting treated equily now a days. Also there were other factors like martian luther king jr's speech. The presidant at this time was very smart because he helped it so we wouldnt be going through this whole blacks and whites seperation. Even though im white and i would have it better back then I still wish that this terrible time never happened and I hope that it never will happen again. About that i think that this time was so bad that it should be a law that it can never happen ever again if it isnt one yet.
